A Petal Arrangements Hello for #TGIFC554 Color Challenge

I have a Petal Arrangements Hello card for you today for #TGIFC554.

We have another color challenge this week using the colors Real Red, Coastal Cabana, and Granny Apple Green.

It’s not a combination that I would normally put together, so I challenged myself to use them with florals. Surprisingly, I love the bright vibrance of the result (even though the picture doesn’t make it look really vibrant😉).

The stamp set that I used is called Petal Arrangements. It is on page 61 of the Sep-Dec 2025 mini catalog and was just placed on the last chance list. It makes gorgeous flowers, and now you can get it discounted!

To make the card

I used a lot of different techniques to make this card. The red flowers were stamped using the masking technique, and all flowers were stamped on Watercolor Paper with Stazon Jet black ink.

The flowers were colored with Watercolor Pencils, then blended with a Water Painter, a couple of times to get the dark saturation.

To make the red flowers stand out, they were cropped with one of the arches from the Everyday Arches dies. Then, to give the entire card a little bling, I tied a bow in Gold Striped Sheer ribbon and added some Iridescent Foil Gems.
