Sometimes we just need something easy to make, so today A Simple Country Home Thanks Tag will do. I often hear that the hardest part of crafting is to come up with a design or idea. Well, today’s tag is a stepping stone to getting your creativity going.
These tags are so easy to make, that you can produce quite a few of them in very little time. Even if you change the stamp and sentiment, the tags are a fun, simple project.
The stamp set Country Home is in the annual catalog, and with fall right around the corner, the color palette couldn’t be much better.
Making the Tag
To make the tag, you need a piece of Cajun Craze, So Saffron, and Very Vanilla card stock cut to a 2 x 5 1/2 piece size.
Each piece needs to be punched with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch at one end and the Triple Banner Punch at the other.
Stamp the milk canister and flowers on to the Very Vanilla tag with Memento black ink and color with Cajun Craze, Mint Macaron, Smoky Slate, So Saffron, and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends.
The “Thanks” sentiment needs to be stamped on a piece of Soft Suede card stock, fussy cut (meaning to cut out with scissors), and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Decide how much overlap you want on the three tags, and adhere them together with your favorite adhesive.
Finish the tags by tying a 6″ piece of Braided Linen Trim and Metallic Edge Ribbon through the hole on top.
Finally, pat yourself on the back for a job well done!!
This is a really easy project, so give yourself a break, and stop worrying about coming up with elaborate cards to make. Sometimes making super easy, simple projects can do wonders for our creativity. They are the little sparks that get our imagination going.
