A Sweet Jar Treat Card for #TGIFC524 Sketch Challenge

Happy Friday! I have a Sweet Jar treat card for you today. It is a sketch challenge for #TGIFC524.

It’s another sketch challenge, and you know how I love them! This one makes designing your card so easy.

For today’s card, I used the new bundle called Sweet Jar. It is an online exclusive and the stamp set has a matching punch.

I created the background with Pool Party and Smoky Slate cardstock topped with some Floral Impressions DSP. The paper is another new online exclusive that you should put on your wish list. The colors are gorgeous!

The large white square is embossed with the Dotty Circles embossing folder. Behind it, with matching sentiment banners, is a die cut piece from the Stylish Shapes dies.

I made the treats inside the jar look like Jordan almonds. To do so, I stamped off two times before stamping with Smoky Slate ink. It left a very light impression, so I colored over them with my Stampin’ Blends. Specifically, Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lolly, Pool Party, and Soft Sea Foam.

I repeated that process two more times and fussy cut some single almonds.

Although it is hard to tell from the picture, the sentiment is stamped in Basic Gray ink.

To finish off the card, I added a little bling. The bow is made with the Iridescent Striped Trim ribbon and the embellishments are the Iridescent Faceted Gems.
