Happy Friday! It’s another theme challenge for #TGIFC460 and this time it involves Sale-A-Bration and Sweetest Cherries.
I have chosen a couple of items from the Sale-A-Bration brochure to use for this card. One item is the paper and the other a stamp set.
The background DSP is from the Sunny Days pack and coordinates with the Sweetest Cherries stamp set beautifully. It can be earned with any $50 purchase and can be found on page 5 of the SAB brochure.
On page 10 of the brochure, you can find the stamp set that I used called Heartfelt Hellos. It too can be earned with any $50 purchase.
The mainstay for my card, however, is the Sweetest Cherries stamp set. It is from the 2023-2024 annual catalog and can be found on page 20.
To make the card
- Begin with a 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” piece of Basic Gray cardstock, score and fold at 4 1/4” to form your card base.
- Layer and adhere a 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” piece of Sunny Days DSP (SAB) to a 4” x 5 1/4” piece of Basic White cardstock. Adhere both to the card base.
- Crop a piece of Basic Gray cardstock with the double circle from the Everyday Details dies and adhere to card, about 3/4” from the bottom.
- Stamp your three sentiments on a piece of Real Red cardstock using Versamark ink. Quickly dust them with White embossing powder, tap off the excess, and set in place with your Heat Tool.
- Fussy cut the sentiments. (Fussy cut means to cut out with your Paper Snips.)
- Adhere each sentiment to a 1” strip of Shaded Spruce cardstock. Trim the ends to ensure both sides are equal. Attach them to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- On a piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the following; two cherries in Real Red ink, two leaves in Shaded Spruce ink, and two stems in Early Espresso ink.
- Punch the images out with the Cherry Builder punch, adhere them together, and attach to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Attache three Rhinestone Basic Jewels as shown.

I love the way this card’s message can’t be missed. I have a couple of older, widowed, friends who need to be reminded how amazing they are, and how much they add to my life and the lives of others around them. Cherry blossoms will open in late March/early April. I’ll have these made in time to send to them in celebration of another season of cheery cherries.
Thank you Sandy! This card is perfect for those friends of yours and such a great idea!! Have fun with those cheery cherries.🍒
