An Amber Autumn Thanks

Happy Friday! Today I have an Amber Autumn Thanks card for you.

I made this fun, fall card for our October Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge, Regals.

I’m a huge fan of the regals collection, and since it’s fall, cajun craze was an easy choice for me. The color reminds me of fall leaves, so I grabbed my Stampin’ Blends and created the perfect fall leaf with them.

Cajun Craze isn’t the only regals collection color that is perfect for fall. There are greens, reds, and the fabulous Crushed Curry yellow too!

To make this card, I stamped a leaf on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with Tuxedo Memento black ink, then I colored it with the following Stampin’ Blends.

I then built the card. A layer of Early Espresso cardstock is on a Crumb Cake cardbase, and a piece of Autumn Toile DSP is on top.

A piece of Cajun Craze cardstock was embossed with the Birch Wood embossing folder and placed on top of the DSP.

Next, I wrapped a piece of Irregular Weave Trim around another piece of Early Espresso cardstock, and that went on top of the embossed piece.

I cut a couple of shapes out with the Stylish Shapes dies in Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla cardstock. The sentiment was stamped on the label and it, as well as the circle, were adhered to the card.

The leaves were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and I finished it by adding three Streaked Dots.

I’m very pleased with the way my leaves turned out and feel that they look quite realistic. What do you think? Please leave a comment below to let me know what you think about my Amber Autumn Thanks card.
