An Arched Wishes Inspiration Challenge for #TGIFC526

Today is Friday, and that means it’s time for an inspiration challenge for #TGIFC526.

For this fun, happy birthday inspiration, I chose the Arched Wishes stamp set and coordinating Everyday Arches dies.

I kept the color palette on this card pretty minimal. The only colors that were used were Basic White, and the two new In Colors Cloud Cover and Strawberry Slush. Oh, and that little strip of metallic pink under the sentiment, is Pretty in Pink.

The metallics are what really make this card. They are from the online exclusive paper called Flower Garden Foils. The colors are Cloud Cover, Pretty in Pink, and Strawberry Slush.

This card was made by layering the pretty Cloud Cover DSP on top of a piece of Strawberry Slush cardstock, then a Basic White card base.

I then cropped a piece of Strawberry Slush cardstock with one of the Everyday Arches dies and placed that towards the bottom-left corner.

For the cupcakes, I colored the icing and candles with the Pretty in Pink and Strawberry Slush Stampin’ Blends. The cupcake wrappers were created by stamping them on a piece of the Flower Garden Foils with some Stazon On ink. I fussy cut everything, then attached them with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I made a double bow in some white Baker’s twine, and attached a three-layer sentiment on top. Three Neutral Matte Dots were added and a little
Wink of Stella was applied to the candles for some more sparkle.
