Happy Friday! I have an easy Autumn Wishes Scrap Collage card for you today.

This card was made for #TGIFC552’s Inspiration Challenge. The challenge is all about celebrating gratitude and the abundance and warmth of the season. Here is the picture for the inspiration.

I chose to focus on the fall colors in the photo and use the Gathering Together DSP. It has the warm oranges and browns that I was looking for.

Instead of stamping and coloring, like I usually do, I chose to make this one without either. That’s right, there is no stamping, and the design will help you use up some of the scraps you have laying around. As an added bonus, it’s rather quick to make.
To make the card
- Begin with a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, score and fold at 4-1/4″ to form your card base.
- Sandwich a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Crumb Cake cardstock in the Forever Plaid embossing folder and run through your Cut & Emboss machine. Roll the corners with your fingers to give it a worn look.
- Cut two 1/4″ x 6″ pieces of Earthen Toned Metallic paper, and two 3/4″ x 6″ and four 1/2″ x 6″ pieces of Gathering Together DSP.

- Cut the ends of one Earthen Toned Metallic strip, one 1/2″ strip and the two 3/4″ strips of DSP diagonally with your scissors.
- Weave the strips together so that the four diagonally cut strips are horizontal, with the cuts on the right, and the other four strips vertically. (Hint- stagger the horizontal strips so that they are different lengths.)

- Flip the weaved strips over and apply some regular and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. (Hint- overlap the Dimensionals so that they hold the papers together. It also helps to do this on a sheet of grid paper to ensure that your strips are straight.)
- Attach the weaved strips to the embossed piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. Flip it over and trip the excess off with your scissors.
- Cut out the words “Autumn Wishes” from a piece of Earthen Toned Metallic paper using the Words for the Season dies. (Hint- be sure to save the dot for your eye, it is not attached.)
- Carefully adhere the words to the larger strips of DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, starting with the last portion of the word first.

- Adhere the piece to the card base using more Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Attach three Streaked Dots as shown.
