April 2022 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

Today I have three April 2022 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives to share.

This is such a pretty kit and full of bright colors. The flowers and the butterflies are fun, but what really did it for me is the caterpillars! While cute, they can be destructive.

I am currently battling some pesky little caterpillars on my geranium plants. The tiny little guys are known as “bud worms” and rightfully so. They eat your buds before they get a chance to bloom, or if it does bloom, the petals are full of holes.

I am winning the battle, but the war is not over though. Until then, I think I prefer to make cards with the adorable ones, that aren’t so destructive, in this kit.

The first alternative

The first alternative is showing a little “destruction”. I couldn’t help but to have him eating away at a portion of the card.

The sentiment and butterfly tie the piece together beautifully.

The second alternative

The second alternative is quite easy to put together.

The precut flowers pair great with the hand cut butterflies.

The last alternative

The last alternative focuses on the butterflies. Repeat stamping in multiple colors make it nice and bright.

And, adding some Glittered Organdy ribbon gives it a little bling.
