August 2020 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

The August 2020 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives are all about celebrating the hero’s in our life. The kit contains trophies and ribbons, but today my alternatives do not contain those items. The focus for these alternatives is instead, on the vellum leaves.

The leaves are a clear/white vellum and can be colored to match your color scheme or that of the Paper Pumpkin which are;

The first of the three alternatives contains leaves that are colored with Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends. The vase is made from the pre-cut trophy and the daisies are made using the Medium Daisy Punch.

The second one, once again, has the Mint Macaron leaves. They are just so pretty in that color of green that I couldn’t help myself. The sentiment is using the StazOn black ink since everything else will smear on the foil.

In the last alternative, the leaves are done in blue. Since there is no Pacific Point Stampin’ Blend, Night of Navy will work just fine. The Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend also makes the blue ribbon scalloped circle a little more solid too. After you stamp the image in Pacific Point, color it with the Night of Navy (light) Stampin’ Blend and it looks a little richer.
