Citrus Blooms Sketch Challenge for #TGIFC472

Happy Friday!! I have a pretty Citrus Blooms card for you today for the #TGIFC472 sketch challenge.

This week’s sketch challenge is a great way to show off the bright citrus colors. The four windows make a great layout and really help the oranges and yellows stand out from the blue background.

The Citrus Blooms stamp bundle is a newly released set from the 2024-2025 annual catalog. It is part of the Citrus Blooms suite, which also includes this gorgeous paper. I just love that half of it is in blues and the other half is citrus.

To make the card

• Begin with a 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” piece of Basic White Thick cardstock, score and fold at 4 1/4” to form your card base.
• Layer and adhere a 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” piece of Mediterranean Blooms DSP to a 4” x 5 1/4” piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. Adhere both to the card base.

• On a piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp two different orange stamp images using Memento black ink. Color the images with the following Stampin’ Blends; Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Medium Deep (300), Old Olive, Peach Pie, and Pumpkin Pie.
• Crop a piece out of the two images with the second smallest square from the Stylish Shapes dies. Then, using the same die, crop two squares from the Mediterranean Blooms DSP.

• Adhere the four squares to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

• Stamp your sentiment on a piece of Basic White cardstock using Memento black ink.
• Crop the sentiment with the small label from the Stylish dies and adhere it to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

• Tie a bow in the white Diagonal Trim and adhere to the card using a Mini Glue Dot.
• Attach three Opal Rounds as shown.
