It’s a celebrating theme with my February 2022 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives! These three alternatives are great for celebrating someone special in your life.

This kit was a little different. I wasn’t particularly fond of the animals in it, but once I started creating the projects, I found them to be quite cute. I really think it’s all how you use them.
The same is true of the color palette. It was not something that I would put together, but in the end, they came together nicely.
All in all, I am quite please how these alternatives turned out. I hope you enjoy them to!
The first alternative
The first alternative is a small card tucked inside a colorful pocket. Having both really added some dimension to the card.

Adding a few Playful Patterns Resin Dots ties the piece together.

The second alternative
The second alternative is a gift card holder. The card will fit in the Sweet Little Boxes box, so all that was left was to decorate it.

Adding some ribbon and bling really jazzes it up!

The last alternative
The last alternative does not utilize any of the animals. The leaves were pretty enough to make a statement of their own.

Again, the piece came together by adding a few Playful Patterns Resin Dots.

I would love to know your thoughts. Please let me know what you think of this kit and my February 2022 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives.

Thanks for posting your alternatives for this month’s kit. I absolutely hated this kit and felt I’d wasted my money on purchasing it. Seeing your Alternatives however gave gave me hope that I could actually make something that I would feel okay sending out. I love the idea of the small card tucked in the pocket. And a tag rather than a card, that works okay. Very nicely done. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
You’re very welcome Penny. I’m glad that I could give you some hope for this kit. I struggled a bit at first too, but started to like it more as the projects came together. Hopefully, the same will happen for you.
Brilliant use of the kit elements-i’ve been stuck! Also, grandaughters have been too busy to play with gram! can’t wait to see what they come up with too!
Thank you so much Stephanie! I’m sure you and your granddaughters are going to have a lot of fun. 🙂
