It is still spring for a few more weeks, although you would never know it in Phoenix. Even though we have been in the triple digits lately, I couldn’t resist using the Fable Friends ducks for a cute Happy Spring card.
I chose the duck family for my spring card because they are all adorned in their wet weather gear. Since spring time is known for raining, the ducks are dressed for the occasion.
The umbrella was made using the Umbrella Builder Punch and some designer series paper from the 2019-2020 In Color collection. Adding the umbrella emphasizes the rainy season and adds some dimension to an otherwise flat card.
Although this card has a Happy Spring theme, it can easily be made into a baby card. Fortunately, the sentiment “darling baby” comes with the Fable Friends stamp set too! I’m sure it would be absolutely adorable in pink!
