Have a Peachy Day with Sweet as a Peach

I hope you Have a Peachy Day! How could you not with this cute card featuring the Sweet as a Peach stamp set?

I just love this new set! The peaches are a gentle reminder that summer is right around the corner. It’s something I think we are all looking forward too.

The designer series paper that coordinates with this set is just gorgeous! What a fun bunch of colors!!

To make the card

• Begin with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Calypso Coral cardstock, score and fold at 4 1/4″ to form your card base,

• Cut two pieces of You’re a Peach designer series paper (DSP); one measuring 3 1/4″ x 4″ and the other 2 1/4″ x 4″.

• Adhere the two pieces of DSP together, overlapping slightly, to measure 4″ x 5 1/4″ using Stampin’ SEAL.

• Wrap a 6” piece of Pale Papaya & White ribbon around your 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of DSP, secure the ends with adhesive, and adhere to the card base using Stampin’ SEAL. 

• Stamp your sentiment on a piece of Basic White cardstock using Calypso Coral ink.

• Crop the sentiment with a label from the Stitched So Sweetly dies using your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.

• Prepare to stamp two peaches and two sets of leaves on a piece of Basic White cardstock. Ink your peach stamp up with Pale Papaya ink, then without stamping, apply some Calypso Coral ink to the edges of the peach with a sponge dauber and stamp your image. Do the same for the leaves. Ink your leaves with Pear Pizzazz ink, then apply some Old Olive ink around the edges with a sponge dauber before stamping. (hint- this technique will add some depth to your images).

• Crop the peaches and leaves with the Peach dies using your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.

• Slightly overlap your peaches and adhere together with Stampin’ SEAL.

Add the finishing touches

Adhere the peaches and the sentiment to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Tie a small bow in the Pale Papaya & White ribbon and attach to the card using a Glue Dot.

Attach three Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins as shown.
