The Heartwarming Memories with Snowman Season card is the 5th card in my 12 weeks of Christmas series. This super-sweet card has a snow town background courtesy of the Trimming the Town designer series paper.

The scene is very picturesque and immediately makes you think of winter. The winter scene paper also has a soothing color palette. The colors for this card are composed of the following.
There is more to this paper than just the wintery scenes too! It has a nice mix of patterns in blues, greens, and reds. As you can see, Pumpkin Pie is not a coordinating color, but Frosty had to have a nose. 🙂
In addition to the great designer series paper and Snowman Season stamp set, the Stitched Rectangle dies also play a role.
To make this card
- Begin with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Gray Granite card stock, score and fold at 4 1/4″ to form your card base.
- Crop a piece of Pool Party card stock with the largest rectangle in the Rectangle Stitched dies. Layer a 3 5/8″ x 5″ piece of Trimming the Town designer series paper on top, and adhere both to the card base.
- Stamp your sentiment on a piece of Whisper White card stock and crop out using the Stitched Rectangle die measuring 1″ x 3″.
- Crop a piece of Gray Granite card stock using the 1 3/8″ x 3 7/16″ Stitched Rectangle and two pieces of Pool Party card stock using the 1 3/16″ x 2 1/2″ Stitched Rectangle. Cut one of the Pool Party rectangles in two at the 1″ mark.
- Adhere the smaller cut piece of the Pool Party rectangle to the Gray Granite rectangle and adhere the full size Pool Party rectangle on top (There will be a little overlap with a seam), then adhere the Whisper White rectangle on top and adhere to the center of the card.
- Stamp the snowman, hat, and arms on a piece of Whisper White card stock using Tuxedo Memento black ink and color with Gray Granite, Old Olive, Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, and Real Red Stampin’ Blends.
- Punch the snowman out using the Snowman Builder Punchand adhere the arms and hat to the body using Multipurpose Glue. Then, flip him over and add Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the left side only.
- Attach the snowman to the card (overlapping the sentiment) and adhere three Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels as shown.

To finish the card, apply Shimmery Crystal Effects to the snowman and leave him sit for a while to dry.
