Intricate Leaves So Thankful for You

Today’s card is So Thankful for You with the Intricate Leaves dies. It’s a pretty card that is also easy to make. The best part is that it is perfect for this time of year.

This time of year the leaves are changing. They come in all sorts of yellows, reds, oranges, and browns. While this card doesn’t have any brown leaves, the cardstock chosen is quite colorful.

To make this card

• Begin with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Soft Succulent cardstock, score and fold at 4 1/4″ to form your cards base.
• Adhere a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Harvest Meadow designer series paper (DSP) to the card base using Stampin’ SEAL.
• Wrap a 6” piece of Gold Shimmer ribbon around a 2″ x 4″ piece of Harvest Meadow DSP, secure the ends with adhesive, and adhere to the card using Stampin’ SEAL.

• Adhere a 3 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Cork Specialty paper to the card, about 1/2″ from the top and sides, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

• Crop some leaves with the Intricate Leaves dies using your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine as follows: one large leaf in Soft Succulent, one medium leaf in Calypso Coral, and one small leaf in Bumblebee cardstock.
• Attach the leaves to the Cork Specialty paper using a Glue Dot as shown below.

• Stamp your sentiment on a piece of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Memento black ink.
• Using your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine again, crop your sentiment and a piece of Soft Succulent cardstock with the Seasonal Labels dies.
• Layer and adhere the two labels together and attach to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Attach three Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed dots as shown.
• For a little shimmer, carefully add some Wink of Stella to the leaves.
