January 2021 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

It’s time for some January 2021 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives! This kit, Sending Hearts, is all about love and Valentine’s Day.

I tried to keep the alternatives rather easy this month. There isn’t a lot of added extras and should be relatively easy to make.

The first alternative

The first alternative is pretty simple. The mailbox cutout is given some depth by adding a layer of Basic Black behind it. When you put that on top of some Stampin’ Dimensionals, it gives it even more depth.

Wrap some matching Basic Black ribbon around it, and you’re all set.

The second alternative

The second alternative is a little whimsical. Creating a repetitive snail pattern makes it a lot of fun.

Leaving all the snails colorless, and only coloring one, really gives it a pop! A double strand of ribbon with the elevated sentiment adds even more visual interest.

The last alternative

The last alternative is given some texture with the Subtle embossing folder.

Adding a trio of hearts over it makes them the center of attention.
