Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is “Love Is In The Air.” We hope that you will be inspired by the creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Although Love is in the air is our theme for this month’s blog hop, it doesn’t necessarily mean Valentine’s Day. With that in mind, I decided to share a card that I made “with love” for my husbands birthday.
The card is made with the new, upcoming online exclusive stamp bundle called Encircled in Nature. I absolutely love it and knew that it would be the perfect card for my husband. He is an outdoor enthusiast, and any set that is tied to nature is a sure hit.
In addition to these cool looking trees, the circles in this set are what really drew me in. They remind me of the old set from a few years ago called Arrange a Wreath. You are able to build the circle layers and that makes for countless possibilities.
As I said, this is an upcoming bundle, so it is not yet available. It, as well as many other items, will be available to order on March 4, 2024.
To make the card
I made a twisted easel card like this a while back, and you can find the instructions on how to make the base of the card here. You just have to change out the colors of cardstock and the DSP. The base is in Pebbled Path, the middle layer is Very Vanilla, and the DSP is from Earthen Elegance and Let’s Go Fishing.
Once the base was made, I created the “window” adorned with the nature scene. The wreath-shaped die cuts are on top of a Vellum circle for support. It holds all the die cuts and stamped images and remains see-through.
A label was placed on the inside with Stampin’ Dimensionals to help keep the fold open.
Since this tutorial is quite long, I created one that you can download rather than reading it all here on my blog. You can find the tutorial by clicking on the button below.
Before you go
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month, when our theme will be “It’s All About The Kids.”
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
