Lovely You for a Cherished Friend

Today’s card, lovely you for a cherished friend, is a bright vibrant card. It is intended to bring a smile to that “cherished friend’s” face by letting them know that you care.

We all have those for whom we care about, but with our busy lives, we may not always tell them as much as we should. That is where this card comes in to play. How could they not know they are cherished with all of these beautiful colors? Just look at all of this yumminess!!

Fun, bright colors have a way of bringing a smile to someone’s face, and let’s face it, who couldn’t use that!

To make this card, you will need all of those bright colors, as well as, the Lovely You Bundle. This bundle contains 18 cling stamps and a coordinating punch that has two different designs in 3 different widths. That makes for a lot of uses, and better yet, you get a 10% discount when you purchase the stamp set and punch “bundled” together.

Making the card

• Begin with a 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 card base of Coastal Cabana card stock. Adhere a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Gorgeous Grape card stock to it.
• Rip the edges off of a 4 x 5 1/2 piece of Whisper White card stock, and using the masking technique, stamp the flowers as shown.
• Stamp the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape on a 3/4 x 3 3/4 piece of Whisper White card stock. Punch the ends with the Lovely Label pick a punch.
• Cut a 7/8 x 3 7/8 piece of Gorgeous Grape card stock, punch the ends to match the sentiment piece, adhere them together and attach to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• From the Playing with Patterns suite, attach a Coastal Cabana bow using a glue dot, and apply two resin dots.
