Today I am sending a note of thanks with the Sending Smiles stamp bundle. This bundle is now available and is one I think you will want.
When you need to send a note for something, this set has you covered. It contains 22 photopolymer stamps, with 9 of them being sentiments. The coordinating dies, Sending, contains 14 dies that will crop our your images and words alike.
I love dies that contain word cutouts, so when I saw this set, I had to have it. Mixing and matching the flowers and words will crate endless designs. This fun, versatile set is on page 14 of the new 2022-2023 annual catalog.
To make the card
- Begin with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Orchid Oasis cardstock, score and fold at 4 1/4″ to form your card base.
- Adhere a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Sun Prints designer series paper (DSP) to the card base using Stampin’ SEAL.
- Sandwich a 3 3/4″ x 4″ piece of Starry Sky cardstock in the Timeworm Type embossing folder and run through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.
- Adhere the embossed piece to the card, 1/2″ from the top edge of the DSP, using Stampin’ SEAL.
- Sandwich a 2 3/4″ x 4″ piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock in the Timeworm Type embossing folder and run through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.
- Holding on to the edge of the textured piece, run your Bone Folder down the edge (in small increments) to mar up the edges slightly.
Time to stamp
- On a piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the following using Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, and Orchid Oasis ink: your sentiment, one large flower, one medium flower (stamped off), one small flower, one large stem/leaves, and one small stem/leaves. (stamp off means to ink up your stamp, stamp on a piece of scrap paper, then without re-inking your stamp, stamp your image where desired)
- Using your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine again, crop the following with the Sending dies: your sentiment, the flower/leaves images, a piece of Orchid Oasis cardstock for the word, and a piece of Basic White cardstock for the word background.
- Adhere the small stem/leaves to the Daffodil Delight piece, followed by the large stem/leaves with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (MLG) as shown below.
- Layer and adhere the word with the word background and attach to the Daffodil Delight piece using MLG. (hint- adhere the word at the bottom edge and allow the letters N and G to hang off the edge.)
- Attach the Daffodil Delight piece to the card, near the left edge and 2″ from the bottom edge of the card, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Adhere the flowers and sentiment to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Attach three Rhinestone Basic Jewels as shown.
- For a little shimmer, brush over the center of the flowers with some Wink of Stella.
