It’s new catalog time and you know what that means? It’s time for some sneak peeks!! The July-December 2021 Mini Catalog is full of some great fall and holiday ideas and today we are going to be showing them to you

Sneak Peeks from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

Nothing says fall like a good leaf, so when I saw the Gorgeous Leaves and Intricate Leaves die set, I just had to have it. The leaves are so versatile and work really well for a masculine birthday too.

Gorgeous Leaves/Intricate Leaves bundle

To give it a more masculine touch, I combined Beauty of the Earth designer series paper (DSP) with two new ones from the upcoming catalog. The two new ones are Cork specialty and Harvest Meadow. I think you will like them both.

To make the card

  • Begin with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, score and fold at 4 1/4″ to form your card base.
  • Adhere a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Harvest Meadow designer series paper (DSP) to the card base using Stampin’ SEAL.
  • Cut two pieces of Cork Specialty paper, each measuring 1 3/4″ 3 3/4″.
  • Adhere the Cork Specialty paper to the card as shown below with Stampin’ SEAL.

  • Using your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine, crop two leaves from the Intricate Leaves dies; one in Night of Navy cardstock and the other in Crumb Cake cardstock.
  • Place a Mini Glue Dot on the back of the blue leaf, in the center area so that it doesn’t show.

  • Adhere the Crumb Cake leaf to it, place another Mini Glue Dot in the same spot on the Crumb Cake leaf, and attach to a 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Beauty of the Earth DSP.
  • Attach the piece to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Stamp the sentiment on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock using Night of Navy ink.
  • Crop the sentiment with the Tasteful Labels using your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.
  • Adhere the label to the card using Stampin’ SEAL on the right side and a Stampin’ Dimensional on the left. (Hint – Since the label is halfway on a raised piece, putting a dimensional on one side will give it an even look.)
  • Cut two 8″ pieces of Linen Thread, hold them together, tie a bow, and trim the ends.
  • Attach the bow to the card using a Mini Glue Dot as shown.
