The new catalog is coming, and today’s card is showcasing one of the new products; Tasteful Touches. It is quickly becoming one of my favorites and makes for a beautiful birthday card. Read below for more information on the beautiful Tasteful Touches Birthday Wishes card.
The color pallet for this card is one that I go to often. I believe that it is a striking color combination. The softness of the Petal Pink and Smoky Slate really make it quite suitable for any occasion.
Several of the layers in this card were created with another one of my favorites; the Stitched Rectangle dies. They make layering easy and give a nice stitching around the border.
To get the rest of the layering effect, Stampin’ Dimensionals were used. They give lift to the sprigs, feathers, and flowers.
To achieve the look of the flowers, they were colored with Petal Pink and Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends. I then fussy cut (meaning cut out with scissors) the flowers and finished them with a Wink of Stella for some sparkle.
