#TGIFC424 – Sketch Challenge

This week’s TGIF challenge is a sketch challenge! Yay, I love sketch challenges!! The design is already done for you, so all you have to do is make it your own.

To make this sketch challenge my own this week, I am using the Sweet Citrus stamp set, dies, and hybrid embossing folder. What a fun set this one is! I’m not sure why it took me so long to use it.

This stamp set has 11 photopolymer stamps, four of which are sentiments. The real star of the show, however, is the matching hybrid embossing folder and dies. There are seven dies to crop your images and the embossing folder really makes the citrus come to life.

Being able to cut and emboss them together was a real time saver for me. I liked this card so much, that I decided to make multiples of it for a demonstrator swap that I am attending tomorrow. I am hoping that they like it just as much as I do.

Now, on to the card.

I embossed a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Crushed Curry and attached it to a matching card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To replicate the #TGIFC424 challenge, I layered a 2 5/8″ x 3 7/8″ piece of Delightfully Eclectic DSP (love those matching lemons) to a 2 3/4″ x 4″ piece of Old Olive cardstock and placed it in the lower-right corner.

My sentiment is on a 1/2″ strip of Basic White cardstock and is layered on top of the DSP piece.

Once the sentiment was in place, all that was left was the lemons and flowers. They were stamped with Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, and Garden Green.

To finish the card, three Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels were added for a little bling.
