Thanks & Gratitude for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

I don’t know about you, but I use a lot of thank you cards. So, when one comes along that is quick and easy, it is always a welcomed treat.

The Sweet Strawberry Making My Day card is a no-fuss, quick card. It is easy to make and doesn’t require a lot of supplies. There are only three colors, but they work so well together too.

The strawberries are from the stamp set Sweet Strawberry. It is one of my favorites because it has a coordinating punch. I don’t know about you, but I love when there is a tool to cut out my images. It makes my crafting life a whole lot easier.

Sweet Strawberry Bundle

To make this card

  • Begin with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Basic White Thick card stock, score and fold at 4 1/4″ to form your card base.
  • Adhere a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Poppy Parade card stock to the card base using Stampin’ SEAL.
  • On a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of Basic White card stock, stamp the berry vines (3 times) at the bottom using Tuxedo Memento black ink and the sentiment in the top right corner using Poppy Parade ink.
  • Color the strawberry vines using Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends and adhere the piece to the card.
  • Stamp two strawberries and their stems on a piece of Basic White card stock using Granny Apple Green and Poppy Parade ink.
  • Punch the strawberries out using the Strawberry Builder Punch, adhere the stems to the strawberries, and attach to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Attach three Rhinestone Basic Jewels as shown.
