Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team created projects where “It’s the Sentiment that Counts.” We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Today’s card is all about the sentiment. What better way to let someone know they are on your mind, than to send them a card saying “thinking of you?” I find this to be the perfect sentiment to showcase. There is no special moment or milestone in someone’s life required, it’s just a random act of kindness.
Is there someone in your life that you are thinking about? Send them a card and let them know. I am willing to bet that it will make their day!
Making the card
- Start with a card base of Pretty Peacock measuring 4 1/2 x 5 1/2.
- Layer and adhere the following to the card base; a 4 x 5 1/2 piece of Sahara Sand, a 3 7/8 x 5 1/2 piece of Mango Melody, and a 3 3/4 x 5 1/2 piece of Plaid Tidings designer series paper.
- Stamp the main image in Sahara Sand and Pretty Peacock and the leaves in Sahara Sand and Mango Melody.
- Crop out the stamped images with the Nature’s Roots dies.
- Adhere the leaves to the card and attach the tree ring using Stampin’ dimensionals.
- Use a glue dot to attach a bow made of Braided Linen Trim.

More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on October 14th when our theme is “Tag, You’re It!” Participants will showcase tags or 3D items that will be great for gifts for any occasion. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft room.
