Thoughtful Wishes Thinking of You Fondly

Happy Thursday! I have a card made with the Thoughtful Wishes bundle for you today.

This card was made for our monthly Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge. The theme was to make anything with your favorite products from the annual catalog.

I actually have a few favorites from the catalog, and one of them is the gorgeous Thoughtful Journey DSP.

I love all the scenic landscapes that the paper has, but always have a hard time covering them up. So, in order to not do that (yet still get some layering), I made smaller strips of the DSP for the background. This allowed me to show off two different patterns, and I was able to add some floral elements from the Thoughtful Wishes bundle, for a nice cohesive look.

To make the card

Here is a list of supplies that you will need to create it. If you do not have all the supplies, then you can use what you have on hand. It will come out a little differently, but just as nice.

Cardstock

• Basic White 4” x 5 1/4” (inside) and scrap for stamping
• Lemon Lime scrap for die cutting
• Misty Moonlight scrap for die cutting
• Pretty Peacock 4” X 5 1/4” and scrap for die cutting
• Smoky Slate 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4″ and 7/8” x 2 3/4”
• Thoughtful Journey DSP 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” and 7/8” x 4 1/2” (x3)

Inks

• Mossy Meadow and Pretty Peacock ink pads
• Old Olive (L) and Mossy Meadow (L) Stampin’ Blends

Tools

• Cut & Emboss machine
• Paper Snips
• Paper Trimmer

Embellishments

• Baker’s Twine Three Color Pack (Lemon Lolly)
• Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems

Adhesive

• Mini Glue Dot
• Multipurpose Liquid Glue
• Stampin Dimensionals
