Today I have a Cheerful Daisies inspiration challenge card for #TGIFC514.

I love a good inspiration challenge and this one comes from one of my favorite designer series papers. It’s from page 34 of the Jan-Apr 2025 mini catalog and is pat of the Floral Delight suite.
The yellow florals really inspired me from this photo, so I tried to stick with that theme without using too much from the suite. I used the gorgeous Floral & Gingham Vellum specialty paper, but the rest was created with other products.
The Cheerful Daisies and Sentimental Park stamp set, along with their coordinating dies, helped recreate the look of the suite. The circle patterns caught my eye too, so I added those in courtesy of the Spotlight on Nature dies.

To make the card
- Begin with a 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” piece of Pool Party cardstock, score and fold at 4 1/4” to form your card base.
- Adhere a 4” x 5 1/4” piece of Basic White cardstock to the card base.
- Prepare to stamp your flowers on a piece of Basic White cardstock. Ink up the large, flat daisy stamp with Daffodil Delight ink using your Sponge Dauber. Once that is on, then using more Sponge Daubers, add some Crushed Curry ink and some Peach Pie ink towards the center. Huff on the stamp (like you’re fogging up a mirror), then stamp.

- Repeat the process until you have two large daisies and two small daisies. Then, stamp over them with the detailed stamp for an outline using Crushed Curry ink. Lastly, stamp some centers in them using Pecan Pie ink.
- Next, stamp the flat bunch of flowers from Sentimental Park using Pool Party ink. Stamp the detailed stamp over them using Pecan Pie ink. Then, use your Lost Lagoon Light and Daffodil Delight dark Stampin’ Blends to go over a portion of the center lines and center.
- Crop your flowers with the coordinating dies.

- Crop two small flowers in Pool Party cardstock with the Sentimental Park dies. Then crop two small circles with the 2nd smallest dies in the Floral Delight DSP using the Spotlight on Nature dies.

- Stamp your sentiment on a piece of Pool Party cardstock using Versamark ink. Quickly dust it with white embossing powder, tap off the excess, and set in place with your Heat Tool. Then, crop the sentiment with the Sentimental Park dies.
- Adhere your circles to a 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” piece of Floral & Gingham Vellum. Then, adhere the small die cut flowers and the stamped flowers as shown.
- Flip your vellum over and place some glue on the areas that have circles and flowers on them. Adhere your piece to the card base.

- Adhere your sentiment and the daisies to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

- Tie a small bow in the Daffodil Delight 1/8” Satin ribbon and adhere to the card using a Mini Glue Dot.
- Attach three Clear Ribboned Dots as shown.
