Today I am sharing a detailed embossed Sunflowers card for #TGIFC534.
The challenge this week for TGIF Challenges is to use a white gel pen.
Gel pens are great for adding details to flowers, they break up the solid color and give a softness to the image.
The sunflowers on this card were made with the Sunflower 3D embossing folder. It is an online exclusive that was released earlier this month. As of this post, it seems pretty popular too, as it is showing low inventory status.
After I embossed the sunflowers, I colored them with Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens. When that was done, I highlighted the petals and leaf veins with a white gel pen.
Some Mossy Meadow & Gold ribbon was tied into a bow and a label and sentiment was paced on top. The labels were made with the Mixed Labels dies and the Labeled With Love punch. Some Low Profile Sparkle Dots were added to tie it all together.
