Happy Friday! Today I am sharing a textured Planted Paradise thank you card.
This thank you card is made with the Planted Paradise stamp set. It’s a fun stamp set that allows you to “build” different kinds of plant arrangements.
It’s been around for a while, and is currently being offered as a FREE set for Sale-A-Bration. You can earn it with any $60 qualifying purchase.
Behind the fun, buildable plants, there’s a sneak peak of one of the designer series papers (DSP) coming out in March. It is called Woven Textures, and I am in love with it! The patterns are very reminiscent of baskets, with numerous weaves in an array of neutrals.
You may also notice that fabulous rectangle die cut underneath the plants. It is a die from another new item called Textured Notes dies. Each rectangle has a different pattern around it, much like the Notes of Nature circle dies.
Now, on to this texture-rich card.
To make the card
- Begin with a 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, score and fold at 4 1/4” to form your card base.
- Adhere a 4” x 5 1/4” piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock to the card base.
- Sandwich a 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” piece of Woven Textures DSP in the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder and run through you Cut & Emboss machine.
- Adhere two strips of Woven Textures DSP, each measuring 1” x 3 7/8” to the embossed piece as shown.
- Wrap a piece of Natural Tones Linen Thread around the piece twice, secure the ends on the back and adhere it to the card.
- Crop a piece of Basic White cardstock with the 4th smallest rectangle from the Textured Notes dies. Adhere it to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- On a piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the following; a planter in Copper Clay, a planter in Blueberry Bushel, two small leaves and a tri-leaf plant in Garden Green, six straight, skinny plants in Old Olive, two curved plants in Mossy Meadow, and three large, wavy leaves in Granny Apple Green ink. Cut the images out with your Paper Snips.
- Adhere four of the straight, skinny plants in the blue pot, and the rest in the clay pot, then adhere them to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp your sentiment on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.
- Crop your sentiment with the Mixed Labels die and adhere to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Attach three of the 2023-2025 In Color Opaque Sparkle Dots as shown.
