Hello my crafty friends! Today I have a “Tis the Season last minute Christmas card for you.
Since I posted a last minute Hanukkah card last week, I thought I would share a last minute Christmas card this week.
This card was actually designed for a friend of mine who wanted to send homemade Christmas cards this year. Since she wasn’t sure what she wanted to make, we sat down and went through cards that I had already made, and she picked out different elements from several of them. The result was a beautiful card made with five different stamp sets.
We used just one or two elements from each set, and those sets are Christmas Greenery, Delicate Pines, Jolly Holly, Ornamental Christmas, and Traditional Labels.
You can easily make this card without that many stamp sets though. Just grab your favorite Christmas element, some greenery, and a coordinating DSP and follow along with the video below.
To make the card
Here are the measurements and list of supplies that you will need to create it if you are making it as is. If you do not have all the supplies, then you can use what you have on hand.
Measurements
- Basic White Cardstock – 4″ x 5-1/4″, 1-3/4″ x 5-1/8″, and scrap for stamping
- Old Olive Cardstock – scrap for die cutting
- Pool Party Cardstock – 3-1/4″ x 3/8″
- Real Red Cardstock – 3-7/8″ x 1″
- Secret Sea Cardstock – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ on long side & scrap for die cutting
- Traditions of Christmas DSP – 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
- Gold Foil Sheet – 4″ x 5-1/4″
