An Under the Sea Inspiration with Pretty Florals

Happy Friday! Today, I have an under the sea inspiration card made with the Pretty Florals stamp bundle.

In case you are wondering where under the sea came from, it is this weeks challenge for #TGIFC530.

I chose to be inspired from the beautiful colors that are captured in this photo. The blues and purples really drew me in. Instead of creating an underwater scene, I created flowers in those bright hues. Here are the colors that I used.

Aside from capturing the bright colors, I threw in a lot of other products to create this beauty. I used the Party Banners dies to create the shape of the front, then gave it some texture with the Plaster Painting embossing folder. Lastly, I made the sentiment with the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid embossing folder.

To create the slightly lighter hue of Azure Afternoon for my sentiment, I colored a piece of Basic White cardstock with my Azure Afternoon Light Stampin’ Blend. Oh, and the flowers were made by stamping various inks and die cutting cardstock in the color palette that I chose.

I put a lot of layers in this card too! Each flower is attached to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the stem, and a Mini Glue Dot on the flower. You can see some of the different depths in this photo.
