Celebrate with Cake and Along These Lines

It’s Friday! That means it’s time to celebrate, and we are going to do it with cake and the Along These Lines stamp set.

The Along These Lines stamp set is one that I got FREE at Onstage in Raleigh in March. I finally decided to get it out and play with it, and I’m so happy that I did.

If you haven’t seen it, you can find it on page 95 of the 2025-2026 annual catalog.

For today’s card, I decided to create with the cake stamp. It had a lot of open space, but at the same time, there’s quite a bit of detail with the lines.

I started by placing a Crumb Cake layer on top of a Petunia Pop card base. I embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock with the Glass & Gardens embossing folder, and placed it on top.

Next, I stamped one of the cakes and the heart at the top of a 2 7/8″ x 5″ piece of Basic White cardstock and the other on a scrap piece. To highlight the detail, I colored the two cakes with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends, then went over the lines with Petunia Pop Stampin’ Blends. Then, colored the flames with Darling Duckling Stampin’ Blends.

The sentiment, from Unbounded Love, was stamped in the bottom-left corner. I then fussy cut around the cake and attached it to a ripped piece of Petunia Pop and Crumb Cake Two Tone Cardstock.

The other cake got tucked in behind the first cake, and the entire piece was attached to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish the piece, I tied a bow in the upcoming Petunia Pop Iridescent ribbon, and added some Iridescent Pearls.
