Looking for a quick, simple card? The Tasteful Touches Feather Wishes card is just that. It is simple, quick to make, and today I am going to share it with you.
I don’t typically do cards that are this easy. I’m not sure why, because I think it turned out just as beautiful as some of my more intricate ones. The best part about it? It is so versatile!
Here are the details:
Cut a piece of Early Espresso card stock to 5 1/2 by 8 1/2. Score and fold at 4 1/4.
Tuck a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Crumb Cake card stock in the Subtle embossing folder and run through an embossing machine.
Adhere the embossed Crumb Cake layer to the card base using Stampin’ SEAL.
Cut a 1 3/4 x 5 1/4 piece of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, adhere to a 2 x 5 1/4 piece of Early Espresso card stock, and attach to the card about 1/4″ from the bottom of the Crumb Cake layer.
Stamp the feather on three 1 1/4 x 2 1/2 pieces of Whisper White card stock using Early Espresso ink.
Cut three 1 1/2 x 2 3/4 pieces of Early Espresso card stock and adhere a feather to each.
Adhere the layered feathers to the card using Stampin’ SEAL. Start with the middle one to ensure even spacing.
Crop the sentiment in Gold Foil and adhere to the card.
