It’s Friday and that means it’s time for a Sketch Card Challenge for #TGIFC520.
I love when I am given a sketch challenge to do, because the layout is already done for me. My only job is to replace those rectangles with an image and some pretty paper.
To do that, I chose to use some new products from the upcoming online exclusives. In fact, there are three that I am going to share with you today.
The stamp bundle is called Impressions Abloom. It is part of the Floral Impressions suite collection, and includes the Floral Impressions DSP.
The pretty embossed background on the card is from a new embossing folder called Glass & Gardens. It is part of Celebratory Sips, another new suite.
All three of these products will be available to order on May 6th.
To make this card, I embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock with the new embossing folder and placed it on top of the same color of card base. Then, I put some coordinating DSP on top in the same layout as the sketch.
Next, I stamped the flowers and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I glued the flowers together and added in some additional die cuts in Old Olive and Pecan Pie.
Those flowers were placed on the card, along with a heat embossed sentiment to match.
Lastly, I added some Opal Rounds embellishments to tie it all together.
