I have a Christmas Classics theme challenge for you today for #TGIFC448. It’s all about Christmas music, and we are wanting to know what your favorite Holiday song is.
If I am being honest, this song is not my favorite. It just happens to be a song that I could depict with the stamp set that I had. Don’t get me wrong, I like the song Deck the Halls, but my favorite would probably be Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer of Frosty the Snowman, but I don’t have a stamp set that would work for those.
I did have fun making this card though. I stamped “Deck the Halls” and added some boughs of holly, so I had to follow through with a few fa la la’s.
Making this card was pretty easy. I created a slimline card base, then added a layer of Cherry Cobbler and Joy of Christmas DSP.
After layering my card base, I die cut a piece of Distressed Gold paper, stamped the sentiment, and adhered it with Dimensionals.
Then, I turned my focus onto the hollies. I stamped and colored them in the following colors;
Next, I die cut the letters with the Alphabet A La Mode dies. The outside letters are adhered with the Foam Adhesive Sheets and regular Adhesive Sheets were used to attach the letters on the inside.
All that was left was some bling, and that was created by adding some Blooming Pearls.
And now, you have, “deck the halls with boughs of holly, fa la la la la…., la la la la”.
What is your favorite Christmas song? We would love to have you play along with us for this fun challenge. Just head on over to the TGIF Challenges Blog, and join us by uploading your creation.
