Happy Anniversary with Senior Years

Today’s card, Happy Anniversary with Senior Years, is another whimsical card using the Senior Years stamp set.

Happy Anniversary with Senior Years

There are actually two versions of this card. This is because there are two special couples in my life who celebrate their anniversary a day apart. I wanted to create a card for each couple, so I thought…why not? Let’s make two cards and personalize them by coloring them slightly different.

As you can see, they are very similar. Both cards use the same colors;

These cards are pretty easy to create. All it takes is a few layers and some creative coloring.

  • Start by layering 3 5/8 x 4 7/8 piece of Playing With Patterns DSP on to a 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock, then adhere it to a Smoky Slate card base.
  • Next, stamp your image on some Whisper White card stock and color it with the above colors. Then, crop the image with 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle die and adhere to the card.
  • Now, it’s time to focus on the sentiment. The “Happy Anniversary” stamp comes from the stamp set A Wish for Everything (it is full of some great sentiments that you can use for many occasions and most of them fit into the Classic Label Punch too). Stamp your sentiment on Whisper White card stock and punch out with the Classic Label Punch. Layer it on top of a punched piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock and adhere with dimensionals.
  • Lastly, add some embellishments to give it some pizzazz! Tie and attach a Gray Granite Shimmery Ribbon bow and top it off with some Artistry Blooms Adhesive-backed sequins.
