I just love Sale-A-Bration time. The only thing that is better, is pairing a great sale with a great set! The Berry Blessings stamp set is part of the Sale-A-Bration and features yummy blueberries and raspberries; two of my favorite fruits. The beautiful background, made with Berry Delightful designer series paper (DSP), comes with it too as an added bonus!

Since this paper and the blueberries are so vibrant, pairing them with an easel card helps to show them off.

Speaking of the blueberries, I made a fantastic discovery while making this card and am going to share it with you. The small balloon die that is part of the Hippos & Friends dies will cut the largest blueberry out perfectly!!

Now that you know my secret to cutting out the perfectly round blueberry, it’s time to learn how to make the card.

To make this card

Begin with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Granny Apple Green card stock and score at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″.

Fold the card at the 4 1/4″ score line (like you would a regular card) and fold the opposite way at the 2 1/8″ score line.

Apply Tear & Tape to the small area that you just folded up and attach a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Granny Apple Green card stock to it to form your card base.

Adhere a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White card stock to your card base using Stampin’ SEAL.

Cut a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Berry Delightful designer series paper (DSP) and attach it to the card.

Stamp the sentiment on a piece of Basic White card stock using Pacific Point ink and crop out with the Hippo & Friends dies (middle size label) using your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.

Crop out a larger label in Granny Apple Green card stock and adhere the sentiment piece to it.

Apply a small amount of Stampin’ SEAL to the middle of the card, wrap a 30″ piece of Forever Greenery Gold Metallic Trim in a circle and attach to the adhesive, and adhere the Sentiment label on top using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Cut and adhere a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Whisper White card stock to the inside of the card using Stampin’ SEAL.

Layer and adhere a 1″ x 4 3/4″ piece of Berry Delightful DSP to a 1 1/4″ x 5″ piece of Granny Apple Green card stock and adhere to the bottom of the inside, being sure to give it the same spacing on the sides and bottom.

Stamp another sentiment on Basic White card stock with Pacific Point ink and crop out using one of the labels from Hippo & Friends dies. The die will be too large, so line it up at the top, run it though your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine, then re-position it on the bottom and repeat.

Adhere the sentiment to the small strip of DSP on the inside using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Time for the blueberries

Make a mask for each of the blueberries. To make a mask, stamp the image on a post it note, being sure that a portion of the image is stamped where the sticky part is underneath, and cut out with your Paper Snips.

Stamp three sets of blueberries on a piece of Basic White card stock using Pacific Point ink, being sure to leave plenty of space between them.

Lay your blueberry masks over two of the ones you just stamped and stamp more blueberries around them with Pacific Point ink, using the stamp off technique. (stamp off means to ink up your stamp, stamp on a piece of scrap paper, then without re-inking your stamp, stamp your image where desired) Repeat the stamping until you get your desired result.

Fussy cut the two groupings of blueberries out. (fussy cut means to cut out with your Paper Snips)

Using your Water Painters, touch up the small white areas between the blueberries and the edges by applying a small amount of Pacific Point ink.

Attach the blueberries to the front of the card using Stampin’ SEAL.

To finish the card, crop out the largest remaining blueberry that you stamped with the Hippo & Friends balloon die and adhere to the inside sentiment as shown.

For an added touch, add a piece of Berry Blessings designer series paper to the envelope flap. Glue a 2 1/2″ x 6″ piece to the outside of the envelope and trim off the excess with your Paper Snips.
