I have a classic color combo, made with the new Softly Sophisticated stamp bundle, for you today.
Silver, Black, and Gold color combinations are so pretty. They give a special elegance to the card, even with some of the most simplistic designs.
Believe it or not, this is a very simple card. It is made with a few of the new Sale-A-Bration items that you can get FREE with purchase. For a $50 purchase, you can get the Most Adored Specialty paper. It is filled with gold accents, Real Red, and Flirty Flamingo.
If you make a purchase of $100, then you can get the Softly Sophisticated bundle. It consists of a floral stamp set and coordinating embossing folder.
Now, on to the card.
- Begin with a 5 ½” x 8 ½” piece of Basic Black cardstock, score and fold at 4 ¼” to form your card base.
- Adhere a 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Most Adored Specialty DSP (SAB) to the card base.
- Sandwich a 3” x 4 ¼” piece of Basic Black cardstock in the Softly Sophisticated embossing folder and run through your cut & emboss machine. Adhere it to the card diagonally, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the leaves of the flower on a piece of Basic White cardstock with Versamark ink. Quickly dust it with Gold embossing powder, tap off the excess, and set in place with your Heat Tool. Repeat the process with the flowers, then with the sentiment in Black embossing powder. (hint- be sure to leave enough space between the flower and the sentiment for your ribbon.)
- Crop the image and sentiment with the 4th smallest triangle from the Deckled Rectangles dies.
- Wrap a piece of Silver ribbon around the piece and tie a bow.
- Adhere the rectangle to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Attach three Rhinestone Basic Jewels as shown.
